Print blank QR codes
Each code is new and unused. Stick one on equipment we have serviced, then scan it with a phone and register it. From then on, anyone who scans it sees the full service history. Only MML staff with the admin password can add or change entries.
- Print the sheet on polyester or laminated labels. Plain paper will not last in a plant.
- Stick a code on the equipment. Scan it with a phone camera.
- The first scan says the tag is not registered. Tap Register this tag, enter the equipment name, the site and the admin password. The code is now valid.
- After a job, scan the tag, tap Add entry and enter what was done, who did it and the date. Newest work shows first.
- Clients and anyone else can scan and read the history on our website without a login. Only the admin password can add, edit or delete entries. Everything written is public, so leave out prices and client contacts.
